Aviation Degree

Obtaining an aviation college degree along with your commercial pilot license can set you apart from the competition. Some major airlines even require a degree to be considered for pilot employment. TransPac Aviation Academy has partnered with multiple universities to offer our students options for pursuing their advanced education. These partnerships provide our students with all of the advantages of a pilot training college by offering college credit for flight training completed at TransPac Aviation Academy. You can enjoy the best of both worlds; a university degree and your pilot licenses!

Please learn about the degree programs below and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us for more details.

With the introduction of their Flight Training Affiliate (FTA) program, Liberty University School of Aeronautics has created one of the nation's largest flight training networks. Through this program, students can complete their general education requirements and the classroom portion of their aeronautics degree program online, and finish their training through TransPac Aviation Academy, one of Liberty's Flight Training Affiliates. Liberty University FTA students are able to complete their Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (4 year degree) and all their flight ratings in as little as 2.5 years on average. FTA students may qualify for Federal Financial Aid (Pell Grants, Loans), Tuition Assistance or Veterans Benefits to cover the cost of their degree and flight training.

Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) Program

Liberty has been approved to offer the Restricted ATP program, commonly referred to as the reduced-hour ATP program. Our FTA graduates may be eligible for the ATP certificate at 1,250 hours total flight time providing they complete their Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Certificate through one of our approved locations and they graduate with a Liberty University Aeronautics Degree.
